What is IV Therapy?

The abbreviation “IV” stands for intra-venous. IV Therapy simply involves delivering liquids directly into the body through a vein. This is the fastest way to get vitamins, minerals and other natural, therapeutic agents into your blood. By by passing the digestive system, we allow for therapeutic doses of nutrients to be delivered into the body in concentrations higher than can achieve with oral supplementation alone. The nutrients will be specially formulated for you based on what you are being treated for, how you feel that particular day and the goal we are trying to accomplish.

By the time symptoms of disease have made their appearance, it is sometimes too late for oral vitamins and minerals to make much difference. Nevertheless, these same vitamins and minerals, given intramuscularly or intravenously, can benefit many diseases. When we attempt to bring a disease under control, what we are really trying to do is provide cells with all the nutrients they need to get the job done. If the cells are not healthy, we are not healthy, since our bodies are composed entirely of cells and cell products.

We approach the problem of curing disease as a problem of “the cell.”  We want to provide the cell what it needs to exist in a healthy environment. To work, these nutrients must be brought into the cell. If the cell is sick, it does not perform its functions well. What to do? The answer is simple: give nutrients in a concentration high enough to force those nutrients into the cell where they are most needed.

High Dose Vitamin C

Vitamin C, when taken orally or infused in low doses, is known for it’s anti antioxidant activity; fighting off free radical damage, supporting immune function among many other things. However, high dose infusions  (25 grams and above) are very beneficial for the supportive treatment of chronic and acute viral infections. Much research has been done showing that vitamin C in these very high doses can disrupt cancer cell growth. In cancer patients, this high dose Vitamin C has shown to improve the response to conventional cancer therapies by helping to alleviate the negative side effects such as weight loss and poor immune function.

Custom Rehydration

During certain illnesses patients may have a a difficult time staying hydrated. Customized vitamins and mineral infusions are formulated in balanced concentrations allowing the body regain optimal hydration status more quickly than drinking water alone. These custom drips usually take 1 1/2 to 2 hours and can be done weekly or more depending on individual needs.

Glutathione

Antioxidants are nature’s antidote to oxidative stress. The accumulation of free radicals can be a contributing cause to a vast number of diseases and the functional impairments associated with aging and environmental stress. Glutathione and its related enzymes are our most prolific antioxidants. It also plays crucial roles in the immune response, DNA repair, and the detoxification process by neutralizing drugs, chemicals, radiation, metabolic wastes and other toxins and carcinogens. Because glutathione is so poorly absorbed, most oral glutathione supplements are less effective. However, you can circumvent this by supplying the body with the nutrients required for glutathione production. Boost your levels by adding a glutathione push to your chosen infusion. Additional Infusions are offered depending on what your body needs.
